A lovely blue don't you think!

Painted roadside adverts are part of French street life - but they're fading fast. Some were used to advertise very well known brands - cognacs and aperitifs for example. This one looks much more like a one-off, promoting the local newspaper - spotted on a housewall in St Martial de Viveyrol. And isn't it a lovely blue!

Sunflowers = Summer!

Sunflowers - just so cheerful... they never fail to lift the spirits... Enjoy them for for just a few weeks in high summer!

Just occasionally you come across lovely shopping possibilities... what could be better than 'Objets d'art, bijoux and vins anciens'... We spotted this in Aubeterre, a lovely village about 15 miles from Gresignac.
