Yesterday we went to Chateau Neuvic plant sale. Buying plants in spring is a great treat and when you get to buy them in such grand surroundings - even better!
Some of the stalls were in the courtyard of the chateau....

These succulents caught my eye..
... as did these cactus
Best of all were the herbs - we bought some oregano and some (more) mint - menthe de cerf which is narrow-leaved and smells just like after eight mints..
These arum lillies were amazing.... but you need a special kind of garden for these, I think..
Lots of lovely foxgloves...
And aren't these delphiniums the most beautiful blue...
Then we came home and planted everything we'd bought - just before a heavy shower - the first rain for weeks!
